: ̗̀➛Your calm and kind personality is beneficial for an asshole like Adam, to put it quite frankly. He needs to calm down a bit sometimes, and you’re the perfect individual to call in those occasions. The closer you two get, the less he acts in a typical Adam-esque manner, because he knows that you don’t particularly enjoy being the centre of attention and something he might say could hurt your feelings. When he’s with you, he simply dismisses annoying angels with a look of disapproval or he drags you away with one of his massive golden wings.

: ̗̀➛Adam loves physical contact! I would dare to say that he’s physical contact’s biggest fan. He loves giving it and receiving it all the same, though some times he might be more in the mood for one or the other. When you’re relaxing on the couch together, he likes you placing your legs on his lap, or if you’re the one sitting up he will put his head on your lap lazily and even fall asleep like that. When you’re in bed, especially if you’re planning to take an afternoon nap, he will spoon you with no doubts, covering your bodies with one of his wings during the colder months of the year. It’s quite sweet how even during summer he looks for physical contact, he will lie on the opposite side of the bed but still find a way to touch you with his wing or leg.

: ̗̀➛As a videogame lover, he knows a few titles that you might enjoy, but he gets bored quickly if he’s the one playing that kind of games. So what he likes to do is getting a snack as soon as you position yourself in front of your flat screen TV with your controller in hand, and watch you be smart as he chews on rib-flavoured chips or whatever weird food he’s gotten last time he went to do groceries without you. He asks quite a bit of questions, and even looks up tutorials for you if you need them, and sometimes he’ll act offended because he thought he had gotten it before you when the solution was something entirely different.

Sometimes whatever you choose ends up being a bit long to watch all in one evening, so the other will lightly complain about having to continue on the next... he’s also a bit (a lot) self-centered, so sometimes he will look up videos that fans record of his own concerts, and tell you fun facts about what happened behind the scenes and if he and his band met some cool fans that night. You’re also in luck on that aspect, because one of his genres is metal!!

: ̗̀➛Heaven has got a bunch of beautiful places that Adam often takes you to, aware of your love for nature. He loves watching you sketch your surroundings, perhaps while the two of you are sat under a large tree or on a secluded bench. He thinks your drawings are beautiful, but he can’t keep his eyes off of you as you concentrate on which detail to add to your illustration next. Sometimes, you’ll act quite silly and ask him to bring you where there’s a lot of flowers so you can put some in his hair...or he’ll guide you to this gorgeous waterfall where angels can swim freely. He knows the best times of the day to go so you don’t find anyone else there, and you can enjoy a nice swim in company of only each other. Careful though, he might get playful and splash you with water with his wings...which are huge, so he’ll accidentally send a whole wave at you! (make sure to get revenge!)

I have no gender preference. My pronouns are they/them. I have a very varied style. I’ll dress in anything from grunge to victorian. Typically I dress in blacks, purples, blues, and greens. I always do bold makeup though so even if I’m doing something a bit more dated, I’ll do very standout shades or sharp cuts.

I enjoy reading, writing, drawing, playing instruments (violin & bass guitar), pet care (I have multiple cats and dogs), cooking/baking, theater, dancing (I’ve learned how to swing and do several classical dances and am currently learning pole). I am either very expressionless or over exaggerated (we call that autism).

I have a crude sense of humor, am very sarcastic and blunt, my love language is lovingly bullying as well as acts of service and physical touch. I do have anxiety along with other mental health problems that make it hard for me to go out in crowded spaces and I’m currently looking into getting a service dog for those reasons among others.

Personality wise I’ve found I’m drawn to people who know who they are in some form (not to say they’re mentally stable because are any of us?), who are open to learning new things and who are snarky. I’ve seen this around in other fandoms I read for, and decided to do it for Hazbin!!

I’m doing matchups for Hazbin characters!

general stuff/preferences: i’m an 18 year old cisgender woman and am bisexual, not too sure of my gender preference yet if i’m being real. not too picky about who i’m paired with although i would not like to be shipped with the following: valentino, niffty, alastor, mimzy, angel dust, sera, saint peter

personality: honestly i can get pretty cold and sharp around folks i don’t know well, i don’t trust until you’ve proven that you’re worth trusting, but once you get past that first initial stage… i’m honestly just a big ball of sun (according to my close ones)! i’m fairly mouthy and have a bit of an attitude, both jokingly and seriously. my humor is very sarcastic and quite a bit cynical, which matches who i am, i guess. if i love you, then i love you whole heartedly, i’m very protective yet loyal to those i love, and despite my small stature i won’t hesitate to throw literal hands if you fuck with my friends, partner, family, etc. despite my highkey bitch persona, when i’m with someone who i value (like a partner), i really let go more. i’m just more light hearted and goofy with my partner, and it’s just easier for me to be comfortable with them over anybody else, i’m a fair bit shy when it comes to handling compliments, both in a romantic and platonic setting, but i won’t deny them. if you’re into this kinda stuff or if it helps, i’m a pisces and my mbti type is infj (i think).

love languages: in terms of giving love, i’m an acts of service and physical affection sorta gal. i’m not great with my words, especially when it comes to love, although i do try. i honestly just love doing things for my partner to take the weight of their shoulders, like for an irl example, i’ll sneak into my boyfriend’s apartment to clean it up a bit for him while he’s at work — or if i stay the night at his i’ll wake him up with breakfast, simple things. i’m also big on physical affection, i hate pda though, but behind closed doors im all yours, kisses or cuddles or whatever ya want, your wish is my command.

➸ I'm not one hundred percent sure and how you two would meet. but if I had to guess I'd say that Saint Peter was out on break and you came up to heaven during that time and he was told to man the gates (despite his protests). He wouldn't be the kindest letting you in, most likely rudely asking for you name and rolling his eyes whenever you gave him a response.

➸ Until you had enough of it, you would snap at him telling him to just do his job and then he'd be more interested in you, messing with you and playing with you teasingly just to get a reaction. I'd imagine that you'd soon grow tired of it and just started to not speak to him and once you were let into heaven you were relieved hoping that you would never see him again.

➸ However fate had different plans for you, he bothered you constantly he wasn't even trying to constantly see you or meet up with you, but whenever he saw you he instantly found some way to annoy the shit out of you. Talking louder than usual, sometimes leaning on you and acting like it was an accident. He thought that you were interesting, more so than any of the other people in heaven and he was going to make sure that he got to know you.

➸ Sooner or later you'd ask him what his deal was with you and all he'd do was smile and simply state that you were interesting and didn't seem like the other 'goody two shoes' that managed to spring up around there. Not to mention he liked the sarcasm you would use to deal with him, he found it endearing and hilarious.

➸ Whether you liked it or not he began hanging out around you more and slowly you became friends and the more you became friends the more he would sling an arm around your shoulder or grab you and pull you places. Soon enough he was constantly touching you in one way or another, brushing hands, or grabbing your wrist to take you somewhere else.

➸ Soon enough he began figuring out that he liked you and began making it his mission to make sure that you liked him back. He'd ask you all sorts of questions and try to figure you out, pick you apart just so that he'd be sure you were in love with him back. Although he just gave up on those tests and straight up asked you out.

➸ At first you weren't sure when it came to going out with him but he didn't stop trying. He kept going and soon enough you agreed. It wasn't that romantic of a date because Adam doesn't really know romance and you both just watched movies the entire time with him cuddling up to you

Whenever he tries to compliment the way that you look or act, it comes off almost as either an insult, as if he was sarcastic, or just a train of stuttering. So instead he likes getting you stuff instead. He'll leave gifts on your desk or in your room but don't mention it cause he gets sensitive about being all sappy

Surprisingly I don't think Adam is into pda too much, he'd say that its bad for his 'brand' when in reality he also thinks that pda would put too much attention on you and he wouldn't be too fond of that as he might get a little possessive at times

He doesn't mind the way you dress, honestly he thinks that baggy stuff look way better on you anyways and will lend you some of his clothes from time to time. Not to mention that he dresses the exact same way and doesn't seem to care too much for 'fancier' tastes

I feel like you two would mess around quite a bit, he would have the more extreme ideas and you would dial it back a bit telling him when and when not to do something. You would also probably help him prank a few people sometimes as long as it wasn't too harmful to them

Who is the worst founding father? Round 3: George Washington vs John Adams

George Washington (February 22, 1732 – December 14, 1799) was an American military officer, statesman, and Founding Father who served as the first president of the United States from 1789 to 1797. Appointed by the Continental Congress as commander of the Continental Army, Washington led Patriot forces to victory in the American Revolutionary War and served as president of the Constitutional Convention of 1787. Washington has been called the “Father of his Country” for his manifold leadership in the nation’s founding.

Washington was a slave owner who had a complicated relationship with slavery. During his lifetime, he owned a cumulative total of over 577 slaves, who were forced to work on his farms and wherever he lived, including the President’s House in Philadelphia. Yet, as president, he also signed laws passed by Congress that both protected and curtailed slavery. His will stated that one of his slaves, William Lee, should be freed upon his death and that the other 123 slaves should be freed on his wife’s death, though she freed them earlier during her lifetime.

Some accounts report that Washington opposed flogging but at times sanctioned its use, generally as a last resort, on both men and women slaves. Washington used both reward and punishment to encourage discipline and productivity in his slaves. He tried appealing to an individual’s sense of pride, gave better blankets and clothing to the “most deserving”, and motivated his slaves with cash rewards. He believed “watchfulness and admonition” to be often better deterrents against transgressions but would punish those who “will not do their duty by fair means”. Washington endeavored to assimilate Native Americans into the Anglo-American culture. He also waged military campaigns against Native American nations during the Revolutionary War and the Northwest Indian War.

Secretary of the Treasury Alexander Hamilton formed the Federalist Party to promote national credit and a financially powerful nation. John Adams (October 30, 1735 – July 4, 1826) was an American statesman, attorney, diplomat, writer, and Founding Father who served as the second president of the United States from 1797 to 1801. Before his presidency, he was a leader of the American Revolution that achieved independence from Great Britain. During the latter part of the war and in the early years of the nation, he served as a diplomat in Europe. He was the first person to hold the office of vice president of the United States, serving from 1789 to 1797. Adams was a dedicated diarist and regularly corresponded with many important contemporaries, including his wife and adviser Abigail Adams as well as his friend and rival Thomas Jefferson.

ahhh oh gosh i would LOVE to write the general version of runaways in my head one day but it would be a massive project - there are things i haven't even thought about yet (moving foreman's stuff in runaways somewhere else is one of them, because that's a simple thing to do)

that little vent-driven fic i keep mentioning is connected to what i do with the ending in both versions of rewritten-runaways but the warriors au version is sooo much more self-indulgent with ruefall completely cutting her family off once she's taken callie back into the city (foxchaser goes to talk with howlstar, because howlstar needs to know he was in camp all night, he needs to be told ruefall said callie's mom could take her in the morning, and chase knows howlstar better than most cats ever will)

bonus note wc au-wise i've bumped up nobody's fault to start pretty much the morning after runaways ends. because having chase play a role in runaways the way he should have, and then nobody's fault coming immediately after,,,,

i take that ending for runaways and shake it like a dog toy in both versions - adams sees herself in callie but callie left for a reason. she's not doing the same thing. she's a smart kid. she knows what she's doing. So Adams still helps her leave. It just sucks that all she can do when she finishes her latest "and she snapped" moment with her parents when they question why they haven't heard from her at all the last week is go see if house is still around, block him in his office doorway, and tell him she needs to hit something - and that's where this little venty fic's event would be . because it just worked out that way once i started writing it

As I was done with the previous ones I am opening new spots.
